Project Description

Southern Geotechnical Consultants, LLC (SGC) provided hydrogeologic evaluation of an approximate 160-acre tract in Bibb County. The work was performed as part of the design and approval process associated with permitting of a Construction and Demolition Landfill with the state. As part of our services, SGC provided a hydrogeological evaluation that included soil test borings and subsequent nested monitoring wells, as well as soil laboratory analysis and groundwater pump tests to help characterize the local aquifer. The suite of tests performed included a suite of Atterberg Limits, Sieve and Hydraulic Conductivity/Permeability using a Flexible Wall Permeameter.
