Construction Testing Services

SGC provides a wide range of materials testing services including special construction inspections. We are qualified and/or certified for testing and inspection related to many parts of the overall construction and/or installation process including the following: deep foundation alternatives (auger cast piles, driven piles, drilled piers, geopiers, rigid inclusions and helical piers); shallow foundations; mass grading and utilities (i.e. field density testing); reinforced concrete placement; grout placement; steel reinforcement; post tensioning; pneumatically placed concrete (gunite), structural steel welding and high strength bolting; structural masonry; anchor load testing; spray applied fireproofing; asphalt testing, and storm water and erosion control operations. All inspections and are performed by trained and qualified inspectors and technicians under the supervision of a professional engineer in compliance with industry standards, and our field technicians maintain certifications by ACI, American Welding Society, NICET, GSWCC, FSESCI, CEPSCI, Masonry Testing Technician, for construction observation and testing.
